Easter Basket Gift Guide

Follow this step by step guide to build an easy Easter basket your Kids will love.

Step 1- Chose a Basket

Step 2- Pick a Stuffed Animals or Doll

Step 3- Add some Toys

Step 5- Add an Accessory

And… You are done! It is really that easy. Most of these products above are affiliate links (meaning I make a small amount of commission from each one purchased) YAY! But also they are products I have or would buy myself. The first two yellow baskets are not affiliates, but we got that type of bag for our Easter basket with the intentions of using it as a pool bag for toys this summer. I love things that are multi purpose. Like using Easter baskets as a way to stock up on Spring and Summer gear for the kids.

The pictures below are the Easter basket I made for Brixton this year. I will link all the small shops we purchased from. I am not affiliated with any of them, but love supporting them.

I love linking small shops and supporting them, and also just searching for fun products I love. But just know none of this is necessary to have a fun Easter. Target bullseye section, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General has some really cute inexpensive options to make a really fun and cute Easter basket. You can still follow the steps without shopping online.

Easter Tradition- The Maze

My grandmother started this tradition called the maze. This photo is old, but its something that is loved and cherished by all the grandkids. Basically you tie string to a pencil (everyone has their own pencil and string color) then the string is wrapped and strung tightly through the yard. You have to follow your string winding it around your pencil until you reach the end where your Easter basket is hidden. The older you are the harder it gets (over fences, changing colors, wrapped around trees…). Even when we can not be with family (like last year due to COVID) it is something I still do with my son. I love this tradition and I am so glad it has lasted generations.
